Four civilians killed in Israeli shelling on school sheltering displaced in Gaza

GAZA — Four civilians were killed this afternoon in an Israeli shelling targeting a school housing displaced families west of Gaza City, according to local sources.

WAFA correspondent reported that paramedics from the Palestinian Red Crescent retrieved the bodies of the four victims following the Israeli airstrike on the Holy Family School, which serve as shelter to displaced families west of Gaza City. The bodies were transported to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in the city.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023 has so far resulted in the documented killing of 38,153 Palestinians and injuries to 87,828 others.

Thousands are also believed trapped under rubble and in the streets, inaccessible to ambulance and civil defense crews.
