DUBLIN, Sunday, August 25 (WAFA) — Dozens of protesters in the Irish capital, Dublin, today demanded the United States stop supporting Israel which has been waging an ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip.
Dozens of Irish people, including artists, participated in the demonstration which was organized by the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC) in Barnardo Square.
The protesters emphasized the need for the United States to halt the shipment of weapons to Israel, which is committing genocide in Gaza.
Artists participating in the demonstration condemned Israel’s attacks on the Palestinian people and extended messages of solidarity with the Palestinians.
They also expressed their support for the Palestinian people’s struggle to gain freedom and end Israel’s occupation of Palestine.
Irish rappers taking part in the protest also called for justice and freedom for Palestinians.
Brian Ó Éigeartaigh, Media Officer for the IPSC told reporters that the United States of America is complicit in the genocide being committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip
He stressed that Ireland would continue to stand by Palestine and its people.
