Five civilians, including three children, killed in Israeli shelling of Central Gaza

GAZA — Five civilians, including three children, were killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a house in the al-Maghazi refugee camp in the center of the Gaza Strip.

Sources said that the number of people killed in the occupation’s bombing of a group of citizens at Bani Suhaila Roundabout east of Khan Yunis has risen to 10.

The occupation warplanes launched a series of raids on the town of Beit Lahia and Sheikh Ijlin neighborhoods in the north of the Gaza Strip and southwest of Gaza City, respectively.

In conjunction, Israeli artillery bombarded the city of Beit Hanoun in the north of the Strip.

Two civilians were also killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the city of Rafah in the southern Strip.

Israeli military tanks infiltrated the southern areas of Rafah city, amid heavy gunfire and artillery shelling, setting fire to several houses in the Saudi neighborhood west of the city.

The ongoing Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has resulted in the killing of 37,626 people and the wounding of 86,098 others, mostly children and women.
