GAZA, Tuesday, August 27, 2024 (WAFA) — At least 7 civilians were killed and others were injured today in an Israeli shelling that targeted Deir al-Balah, the Bureij refugee camp, Khan Yunis and the Zeitoun district of Gaza City.
Medical sources reported that four civilians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombardment of a house in Deir al-Balah in the center of the Strip.
Several civilians were also killed and wounded in an airstrike targeting a house in the Batten al-Sameen in central Khan Yunis, south of the Strip.
A father and his son were also killed in the Israeli bombing of their home in the Bureij refugee camp. A citizen was killed and another was injured in the occupation’s bombing of al-Abrar east of the Zeitoun neighborhood in southern Gaza City.
Medical sources reported that 20 civilians have also been killed in the ongoing Israeli bombardment of scattered areas of the Gaza Strip since dawn today.
The number of civilians killed in the Gaza Strip has risen to 40,476, and 93,647 wounded, most of them children and women, since the onset of the Israeli occupation’s aggression on October 7, 2023.
Thousands of victims are still missing.
